The Summer 2014 Foodie Soirée was a great success! Since 2011 Vanguard Culture has been mixing up San Diego’s arts & culture community with the stars of the local culinary scene. Events take place in private homes of artists, art collectors, and other arts patrons with unique spaces.

Our latest event took place in the beautiful residence and arts studio of the talented mixed media artist and accessory designer Robin Przybysz.

The guest list included a wonderful mix of musicians, actors, dancers, museum folks, artists, fashion designers, and the people who love them. We even had a zen garden and a patterned scrabble board designed by the artist herself!

In celebration of delicious food, great wine and creative people everyone was asked to bring a favorite culinary creation. As usual, our guests did not disappoint!

Event Highlights:

A mini fashion show featuring artist Robin Przybysz’ wild and wonderful accessory collection and the sensuous skirt creations of designer Monique Guzman of Siren Skirts.

…and the amazing PGK Dance Project performed a private dance concert with the artist’s studio as a backdrop. You’ve never seen anything like this…
