The artworks in the exhibition In-Part engage the senses and invite the audience to interact, participate, explore, and escape. Juried by the San Diego Mesa College Museum Studies class with artist Michelle Montjoy, the intent of the exhibition is to encourage visitors to interact with works in a way that is fun and exciting. The selected pieces break through the conventionality of art that hangs on a wall or sits on a pedestal—the viewer partakes and activates the work. These pieces also delve into deeper themes of perspective and perception, confronting the audience with thought-provoking questions on both a personal and societal level.

Participating artists: Lucy Boyd-Wilson, Sarah Bricke, Crystal M. Daigle Sabrina Davidson, Feminist Image Group – FIG(FIG), David Fobes, Kaori Fukuyama, Junko Glawe, Julia C R Gray, Jinxiu Han, Effi Karakaidos, Naria Kitahara, Brandie Maddalena, Lourans Mikhail, Christian Michaels, Margaret Noble, Cat Chiu Phillips, Cheryl Sorg de Mollerat, Elizabeth Stringer, Kline Swonger.
