Join the Film Consortium of San Diego, San Diego Film Week, and San Diego Film Awards for screenings of films produced for the Her Film Challenge! These films were written and directed by local women and will be on the big screen for the first time at this event. Come out and support local films and female led productions. The Film Con Challenge is a timed competition bringing together some of San Diego’s greatest storytellers to produce a short film (less than 15 minutes) in a 60 day long competition.  Each year, The Film Con Challenge will promote an overarching theme for the timed competition, with 2019 being entitled “Her Film Challenge”. Her Film Challenge aims to tell written by women and with women in key roles on the production. Teams were given up to three vetted stories* from the local writer’s group So Say We All and other local writers and adapted the story into a film.
