Inspired by the French salons of the early 18th century, Brain Candy is a contemporary take on this Enlightenment-era institution which provided a safe place for women and men to congregate for intellectual discourse. For this edition of Brain Candy, we bring together some of the region’s most dynamic curators as they gather virtually to discuss their approach to the curatorial craft, how they are addressing the new limitations of the pandemic, and the evolving role of storytelling as we consider exhibitions in the future.

This event is part of Vanguard Culture’s FORUM Professional Development series designed to support San Diego’s Creative Industries. Our programs range from workshops, to panel discussions, to networking opportunities and are designed to educate participants on the business behind their industry.
