Non-Standard Lit Reading Series

Two remarkable readers: Tina Hyland and Omar Pimienta will present at this unique literary event. Tina Hyland is a published cross-genre writer. Her current projects are a grimoire of internet spells and an intimate/antagonistic dialogue with Friedrich Nietzsche. Standing in a long tradition of poet practitioners, she is a novice in a magickal order and will complete her initiation early next year. Omar Pimienta is an interdisciplinary artist and published writer who lives and works in the San Diego / Tijuana border region. His artistic practice examines questions of identity, trans-nationality, emergency poetics, sociopolitical landscapes and memory.
