One March 16 & 17, 2020 Vanguard Culture hosted a dynamic conversation about how to develop strong financial management skills in the arts/nonprofit world. The workshop was designed to help creative industry professionals in need of tools and tips to help advance their arts business or nonprofit organization.
Conceived in partnership with Tiny Opera House and led by founder & CEO T. Hampton Dohrman, a social entrepreneur and nonprofit director with ten years of experience building startup community, teaching entrepreneurship, and managing mission-based startups. Dohrman has a deep and unique understanding of the small nonprofit marketplace and expertise in the finance, accounting, and operations space.
The FORUM is Vanguard Culture’s Professional Development series designed to support San Diego’s Creative Industries. Our programs range from workshops to panel discussions, to networking opportunities and are designed to educate participants on the business behind their industry. Participants not only make valuable connections with other creatives, but they are also provided with tools, tips, and tricks to help them make a living doing what they love. The FORUM is made possible thanks to our generous Professional Development Sponsor Jack Lampl.
