Powerful storytelling takes center stage at the GI Film Festival San Diego, returning May 6–8, 2026 to the Museum of Photographic Arts at the San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park. Presented by KPBS in partnership with the Film Consortium San Diego, the three-day festival showcases compelling films for, by, and about service members and veterans. Featuring documentaries, narrative films, filmmaker conversations, and post-screening discussions, the festival creates space for reflection, dialogue, and community connection through cinema that explores resilience, sacrifice, healing, and the human experience beyond the battlefield.
