This year we plan to honor Annette Bening for the Gregory Peck Award for her Excellence in Cinema over the scope of her career. I worked closely with the Gregory Peck family to determine who we thought was most deserving and chose Annette Bening,” said Tonya Mantooth, executive and artistic director of the San Diego International Film Festival.
