$25 at the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego (700 Prospect St., La Jolla, CA 92037)  

Vanguard Culture’s Nonprofit Arts Leadership Summit includes three dynamic components: Nonprofit 101, featuring essential tools for those new to the nonprofit world (and a valuable refresher for seasoned leaders); Meet the Funders, a candid conversation with the people who fund San Diego’s creative workforce; and our annual Executive Director Roundtable led by Business, Arts & Mindfulness Leader Lisane Basquiat and Vanguard Culture CEO Susanna Peredo Swap, bringing together the region’s top arts leaders to explore new ways to collaborate despite challenging financial and socio-political times. Designed for creatives across all disciplines including film, theatre, dance, visual arts, fashion, music, and more. Featuring performances by Left Coast Quintet & Fern Street Circus.

SUMMIT BREAKDOWN:
8am – 9am: Morning Mixer – coffee/tea/hot chocolate.
9am-10:55am: Nonprofit 101 with Jay Sarno + 20min Q&A with SD Volunteer Lawyer Program
11am – 1pm: Meet the Funders moderated by Christine Jones (Manager, Art, Film and Creative Industries at the County of San Diego. Featured panelists: Rachel Laing, City of San Diego, Dept. of Cultural Affairs; Alexandra Kritchevsky, Program Manager for the Prebys Foundation; and Leah Goodwin, CA Arts Council.
1pm – 1:50pm: Lunch available for purchase at The Kitchen @ MCASD or bring your own.
2pm – 4pmExecutive Leadership Summit – Yearly gathering of arts nonprofit Executive Directors and Exec. Teams, led by Vanguard Culture CEO Susanna Peredo Swap and Arts & Mindfulness leader Lisane Basquiat
