Orange & Black Halloween Soiree: Tyrell at the Timken

Article by Antoinette Genevieve

Set in an intimate setting this year, the Third Annual Orange & Black Soiree was held at the crown jewel of San Diego, the Timken Museum of Art. Surrounded by old masters and some of the rarest art finds in the city, guests attending the Orange & Black Gala were in good company. Honorary chair Jesse J. Knight Jr. took the stage with a jovial approach, thanking the audience for their continued support and dedication to the community. Co-chairs, Reena Horowitz, Jeanne Jones, and Doreen Schronbrun were presented with gifts to thank them for their generous donations of time and funding. Truly an event to behold, the tickets for this year’s Soiree were sold out well in advance of the event. Those that were in attendance last Sunday evening were truly dazzled by both the ambiance and a live concert by Steve Tyrell.
