Vanguard Culture gathered community leaders, elected officials, representatives of World Design Capital San Diego – Tijuana 2024, and ENVZN Urban Art Takeover Featured Artists at The Soap Factory in Logan Heights. Guests had an opportunity to preview the work that will be transforming urban spaces of Logan Heights along the Commercial Street corridor with film, theatre, dance, visual arts, puppetry, live music and more. The event featured live Latin Caribbean jazz by Cacique; delicious bi-national culinary creations by Chef Pepe Cepeda and Chef Daniella de la Puente; craft cocktails by Old Harbor Distilling, complimentary urban portraits by Josue Castro, and fragrant hand-made soap samples from The Soap Factory.
