Born Wong Liu Tsong, her journey from the streets of Los Angeles’ Chinatown to international stardom is a testament to her talent, resilience, and dedicated pursuit of breaking barriers. At the SDCHM, we are holding a limited-run exhibition featuring historical lobby cards from the Dwight M. Cleveland collection that provide a glimpse into Anna May Wong’s unparalleled Hollywood career. Join us on Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m. when we will hold an opening reception for the exhibition, featuring an Anna May Wong Look-alike Contest!
